Selenium is made my JBL. I just dropped the HPF to 63Hz on the 15's in my doors, man did they come alive down low....

Was being legit. I never ran pro audio and I know you have a bunch of different **** in yohr honda if im remembering correctly. This was a good read.

I'd suggest looking at Pyle Pro for the midbass drivers.

I used a pair of their shallow mount 6 1/2" speakers in my front doors and they sounded very good and went loud as hell on 150 watts while still sounding just as good as they did playing low.

For tweeters the Eminence APT-80 sounds very good and is relatively small Amazon.com: Eminence Supertweet APT80 3.4 x 3.4 Inches Horn Flare: Musical Instruments

I used one in a home stereo speaker and was pleasently surprised at how good it sounds.

Maybe three years ago Parts Express had a buyout on a box of 200 Onkyo tweeters meant for GM vehicles for only $10. I tried a pair in my car and was pleasently surprised at the quality of sound they produced. I run 150 watts to each door speaker (I have four) and the two tweeters running on only 15 watts keep up very good with the door speakers.

Hey Mike, I saw the upgrade you did to the doors. I haven't heard the van since last year. I am getting a couple 15" for midbass (60-300hz) to go under the infinite baffle. Family stuff keeps getting in the way going to the shows. I was headed to the show in alsip but it got cancelled. I'm going to try to get out to a couple before the year is over.

I have the 15's playing down to 63Hz now, much better that way.

Exactly, which is why I prefer to run a LOT of speakers and not push them as hard...
