LOUD Highs..... more speakers OR just better speakers?

Currently in a dlimenda and cant really find any info on it.

Im looking for extremely loud highs, I like my music really loud sometimes and my current Cadence CMW6 components on 75rms/chanel arent cutting it, nor keeping up with my substage at full volume.

I have a 4 chanel amp with 125rms/cnal or bridged for 225rms/chanel.

So my options are

-buy a single set of 6.5 comps, factory location, and give them LOTS of power

-buy 2 sets of cheaper 6.5 comps, modify my door panel to accept 2 6.5" drivers on each side (have to check clearance for that one)

I dont know much about the higher wattage drivers, but I would like to keep this under the $200 mark. For the cheaper speakers that ive heard great reviews about, Im inbetween the CDT CL-S60A and the PG RSD's

So what would be LOUDER to my ear, 2 sets of drivers with 125rms each, or a single set getting more power....

Would love to get some feedback. And my btw if I was to do a dual kickpanel off of my door panel, it wouldnt be fiberglassed or anything, Id probably expandable foam and mould it out, dont have the time or money to work with fiberglass, just to throw that out there

SQ definetely matters, since Ive been on these forums Ive definetely been noticing in different setups the differences. When on high volumes I wouldnt like to have any noticeable distortion. Just clean highs

Curious if 2 sets of components in a front stage would be louder, or if just a single set in the doors on a lot of power would be best.

Those horns you linked to on ebay, ive never heard of "horns" before, but 130 oz magnet!!!!!! wow. And 400rms is a tall bill. I think I only would have 250/chanel.

My one tweeters housing is broken though on my drivers side, so that needs to be replaced anyways, its 1".

did u start another thread bout this????

anyway go wit loudspeakers (high fidelity) like dj speakers they get loud, depends what ur lookin for search deephitters ride that thing is loud but it depends on what kinda loud u want

Well im not a huge midbass bfreak, my subs cover that and ive never really noticed "misbass" before. I just like hearing the highs even with the subs hitting, or even when the subs are turned down and PGM/korn/metallica/3 days grace is playing and just having them be almost to loud to take it kinda what I want. hard to explain

haha yea when i show people them and let them hear them they are blown away by them they seriously will make you go deaf i only have i have 200 rms going to each one by a sony xplod 2 channel amp nothing great but had it laying around and people are blown away by them you can hear them prob a quarter mile away plus during day time at night you cna hear them a lil farther they are no joke and considering only 200rms per tweeter its sick and they dont sound that bad at all.

i have the mounted in the grill on the outside of my truck for partys or just to blare loud azz music lol

Do horns come with tweeters and such? I have to replace my cadence tweets (or atleast buy a new housing for one)

Ive never even heard of horns tonight though, but they seems to be what Im looking for. Are the ones linked good, or are there a better set available?

105db sensitivity and 400 watts rms power handling? Can you say bogus specs?
almost all horns or bullet tweeters have a high rating on sensitivity

look at seleniums they are only rated at 100rms but can handle up to 250rms i know several people running 200 + to one selenium and the sens is 107db

audiopipe makes good products look at the subs and the amps a few people have been talking about like memphisflex has amps and subs and comps by audiopipe

Well if these things arent to deep and I can probaly just mount them right in the doors no? I think I have 2.5" clearance in the oem mounts of the doors, and my doors are sound deadened to shit
