Loud components?

Yea ima try mounting the tweets on the pillars. My new HU is whats congusing me now it has slope adjustaments and TIme alignment and all that but since in running my tweets on my "front" rca and mids "rear" rca all that gets defeated huh? Its usless to use the time alignment?

To go 3 way active i need another amp though huh? And i have no space for another amp
yea it's good that you have more options. Slope adjustments will play a big part in how your speakers mesh together. Time alignment can help center the stage around where your ears are while driving. yea 3 way active would require another amp or a 6 channel amp.. But also I hear people use their headunit power for tweeters and use their 4 channel amp for midrange and midbass. It will require alot of work putting all those speakers in the right locations and tuning them though. You're better off staying with a 2 way setup. As far as loudness goes, it could be your headunit not giving out enough output, and/or maybe the speakers need to be implemented better with it's own enclosure and stuff. Those HSK XL's would be sweet though if you can afford it.

Just keep in mind that was a very detailed install, tune, and nice power. I also don't have tweeter hardware but you can get it if you need it.

Not to bad for one set of components though lol. Now do you see why I preach quality?

thats kinda why i want som random cheap pro audio stuff. in my truck its pointless having high end clarity things, loud *** engine, loud *** cabin, and sounds like a tin can down the road WITH doors and floor and rear completely deadened

I've used some of the Precision Power iON amplifiers as well as Clarion XC1410. We have a used i350.2, rated for 115W x 2 @ 4 ohms and 175W x 2 @ 2 ohms, that is a much better choice for running components than the XC1410. It fits in one hand but the iON platform has been proven to make rated power cleanly.

If you really think pro audio style speakers are what you want, we have DB Drive and American Bass available. Jeff might be able to suggest something as I don't touch the stuff.
