loud buzzzzzzzin noise!!! help

i just got done installing a new head unit, 4 speakers and a new 4 channel amp with 4 gauge ground and power cables.

After everything was done, i turned on the head unit and a freaking loud buzzing noise is coming through the front passenger side speaker. it scared the shit out of me.

i tried grounding by the head unit and where the amp was at, but the buzzing is still there. the music was not on or anything. this is very depressing, cause i put a lot of blood and sweat into this.

could be bad ground, bad rca's maybe there ran to close together, or bad channel on the amp

no prob try switching the speaker wires around on the amp for the channels and see if the noise changes, then switch around your rcas, then check to see if maybe the speaker wire you ran is exposed anywhere...

plus, my ground wire is crossing over my rca cables. i hope that is the culprit. the buzzing noise is just scary and loud.

That won't be it. It sounds like your speaker wire is touching a ground on the channel that is making the noise. Either that or a channel is bad in your amp.
