alright i have a 1995 caprice it has a huge trunk i wanna go sealed i was thinkin like 6 12s or 4 15s maybe not dont know yet my budget is up to 150 a sub i wanna get loud but maintain quality thanx for any an all help

um, why sealed? i would go with higher quality subs and not as many if your not in it for spl...for that price range atleast. Don't forget about amps, and highs either...there's a lot more to a good sounding stereo then just subs

you would probably be better with 2 quality 15s with big power to go along with it. I dont know if you could fit 2 18s but that would be beast. Audioque hdc318 are on sale right now also for 250 a peice

come on man, there are waay to many variables to say something like that

I say go with less higher quality subs still though...2 15's in a ported box, upgrade electrical the right way and run some power to em and it'll be loud...

sealed boxs dont pressure like ported boxs. so if they r in a small car it may not be too much of a dif. but in a huge trunk car ur gonna notice the differance. the best i have ever seen in a big body sealed was 144.1 and that was 4 soundstream t4s with 2 soundstream 2ks. so 4k rms and 4 12s and it only got 144.1. i have also seen the same guy do 146 with 2 hdc 15s ported and the same power. so...
