if it is clipping you are just an idiot and any other amp you use will clip as well moron.

all of the hifonics amps deliver clean rated or very close to rated on proper electrical. I bet you didn't have the amp at a 4 ohm bridged load to get the 1000 rms out of it so you cranked the gain and clipped the shit out of it. I have used that amp in many installs for 2 dvc 2ohm subs and it thrashes them just fine with no clipping. I bet you had a junk prefab box as well.

My Hifonics amp has suited me very well on my Premier 10's. One of the cleaner, sounding amps I have had IMO, even more so than other Maxxsonic amps and I have used most of them besides the MB Quarts.

Love my amp and I just think Shellfish has no clue WTF he is doing if he is clipping his amp that much.

OP- Nice setup! I won't doubt it couldn't do 150 with proper electrical. Hell my buddys Envoy when he had it was right at 149, with a modded MMats amp doing over 2k RMS on two 12" Pioneer Premier subs in a smallish ported box.

Also the X's can get loud as well and sound a shit ton better than the R's. R's meter better is all. If he is hardcore about competing, then he should of went with the R's and some redonkulious tunning.

well dude it's WAYYYY past saturday and still no follow up post on this. I can safely say I was right on the fact that after you get metered, that you would post b/c it's not what you imagined it would be. my guess is that it's in the mid to high 130s.
