Bump

That OEM 15 will be beautiful. Do you have the matching dust cap as well?

I was also wondering how you might modify the frame to receive the larger spider(s) since there's not much surface area to glue a new spider landing if you use the tops of the spokes. Not skeptical, just curious. It would be a shame to limit that 3000 coil with an 8" spider. Especially since you have the high roll surround to compliment it.

Do all TC-9 motors have faraday rings in them? Wow, 20 questions! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nerd.gif.c6fa51ddf7ff75f1c0371fbc648f70ae.gif

The SDX15 is sealed in its box but I can pull it out if you need pics, wont have time for a day or two though, and I will post more pics for the 8's

The 15 I do have a carbon fiber dust cap dosnt match 100% but looks quite nice. The frame I would modify but cutting the spokes and welding in a solid ring of aluminium to glue the spiders to and to bolt a lower frame to, I would machine to bolt to the motor so it would also detach. Here is a pic of a custom 8" frame i biult as an example of what I can do. It will look nice. I am not sure about the faraday rings, however another option to the carbon fiber dust cap would be a solid alumium phase plug I could machine up for it. But that would cost extra too.

Ah ha, you're THAT guy. I drooled over that driver in another thread. Gorgeous.

A nod in your direction sir, as you have skills.

Let's entertain the idea of the OEM 15 with the modifications and the carbon fiber dust cap. What would that cost?

Do you have the dual spiders as an assembly already or could you use a single spider perhaps to give a slightly lower Q?
