Not to rain on the sellers parade, but unless you have a ham radio license, using a scanner in your car can be illegal. Serious stuff, not just frowned upon. Check your local laws first, maybe.

This scanner works with Springfield IL police and state police i've btw I should of said like new because I used it twice LOL . I picked up lots of dif cops and fire
