Get off my lawn.
One of our cats helped himself to an open door last night. Hope he comes back! I dont want to have to explain to our 7 year old Mr Bootz is gone for good... (she doesnt know yet) Strange thing is.. Its not the cat I would have expected to bolt given the chance. My other cat LOVES it outside, but managed to stay in unless he went out and decided to come back in on his own.

Heres to hoping he doesnt turn himself into roadkill BE SAFE MR BOOTZ!!!!

Other cat is walking around the house looking for him too. Looking at me like OK DUMB@SS. Where's my friend at?

I dont have to worry about both of mine running away.

They get out sometimes. All they do is explore the yard and such, they always come back though.

Mine knows how to push the screen door open if its not shut all the way. Or if I open it to go outside he will go between my legs and shoot past me.

One time I heard meowing outside my window at midnight. I lol'd at him being out there, his fur was all cold and stuff. No idea how long he was out there for. He likes going out because he gets the role around in the sandbox and eat plants.

if I laid out a live trap with food, thered be a waiting list to get in! Rabbits, squirrels etc! I dont think this cat has the street cred to find his way home if he goes far. Other cat no prob, he cruises the yard all the time. Just long enough to eat some grass and come in and puke, that is.

One of my ex-gf's had a cat that would take off for a week or so at a time. We think he had a second home out there somewhere.

Wherever he is, if someone didnt scoop him up, its 50 and rainy. Im sure he is in a pretty bad mood by now!

My friend's have "outdoor" cats that they let take off for the entire day and they come home at night or when they are hungry.. some times the next day..

Cats are really smart about finding their way home unlike dogs..

My cat tends to do the same, but last time he got out the dumbass from down the street seen him standing by the road and he stomped on the gas trying to hit it.... Now my cat doesn't go out anymore.

I had a cat the jumped out of my car when I didnt know it was in it. It never found its way home. We found it at my neighbors house a couple days later and had to bring it back ourselves. Our dogs ALWAYS find their way back to the house
