loose inside motor of sub?

yea I have the same problem with one of my subs but when i push done its kind of makes a suction cup pop off noise but the tensils look fine their not loose no burn marks no smell and it gets just as loud as the other subs just makes this horrible rattleing noise that would be impossible to stand and I metered it and the ohms are fine.

what kind of sub? im haveing the same problem w/ a 15 XXX.. i pulled the sub out and the motor is comeing loose from the basket...

a few things could be the problem... but if it's playing like it always did just rubbing (really noisy)

it could be:

1. the motor has shifted somehow and it's rubbing on the pole and top plate

2. the former as bent/permanantly shifted on the spider (highly unlikely for shifting via spider) this is very possible

3. some glue somewhere in the motor due to heat or otherwise has caused something to shift

its a kicker L7. an older one the one with the black cone. it would play good on and off, like there was something in there and then it would go away for a little bit then come back, it just got really bad once it got cold, it was good for 3 or 4 days then it would get bad again.

there's nothing that has somehow fallen into the motor?

if it plays the same and is off and on especially with environment changes I would imagine something has shifted either with the former, the pole piece or the motor itself

is there anyway to fix that? or get into the motor structure at all? i just want to get it fixed and back in.
