awhile ago about 4 years ago i ran that amp in my car.. it was my friends own.. i believe it does 1,000 watts RMS at 4 ohms all the way down to .5 ohms... so between .5 ohms and 4 ohms it does 1,000watts no matter watt... it was pretty clean too!!

i forgot to add that you can even change those cards in there for differetn crossovers??? not 100% sure on that...

Nah bro this is thing is wayyyyy old school... like hmm a good 5-7 years old. Known as the best am Phoenix Gold ever made. A collectors item if you will..

It was out at the same time as the ZX amps where. It is a real nice amp. Needs a good amout of power and you should have a line driver going to it. Real good sounding amp. Yes you could put a card in it for X-overs but you might have a hard time finding them. Let us know how you like it when you get it insalled.

Yes alot of my friends agree this is like the best PG ever made.... and lets not forget the ZPA 0.3 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif with this amp .. my friend awhile back.. used it on a 15"L7 the first series of the solo barics.. and in his two door integra he hit a 150db! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif pretty good for the ZPA 0.3!

How can an amp put out the same amount of power all the way from 4 ohms to .5??? Shouldn't power increase with a drop in resistance?
