ive been outta car audio for a few yrs while building turbocharged monsters and im not caught up on whats goin on today. my ? is from all the stuff i grew up on ie: PPI,SOUNDSTREAM,JL,FOSGATE,ORION,MTX,BOSTON ACOUISTICS. whats the best single 15" dual 2ohm sub to fit in 3cu/ft @ 1100watts max in a trunked car. ive been told that im behind in my audio and that RE,SI are making the best subs. whats the best choice for low air moving bass? thanks for all your help this site is top notch for knowledge and for gettin me back into the game!

fi is definately the best bang for your buck company. as for loud, and sounding good, audioque HD3 gets my vote (haven't heard the HDC3). for loud and sounding great, SI Mag takes the cake.

Anything using xbl^2 technology. I prefer the ascendant audio avalanche, and adire brahmas. They are both out of production but you can find them used from time to time. I believe RE audio is still using xbl^2 though.
