well i recently tore out my wall that i ran this past season.

it was 19.5 cf and tuned @ 51hz and i burped at 61hz with a spl of 150.4db tl on the dash with 12 funkin audio sx 10's.

i did bass race with a 60 second av. of 148.7 on music.

well i want to do something other than your basic wall where all the subs are in straight lines and looking simple per say,

but i keep comeing up blank on ideas. so i built 2 temp boxes to hold 6 10s in all , 3.5 cf per box tuned to 37hz and it sounds good for bass and has a high tone burp, but with it being a work model van it rattles all to be damed and with all my tools in the back it honestly sounds like *** when the bass lets up , you can hear everything rattleing, which you didnt hear when i had the wall. i was only puting sound into the cab of the van and it was killer loud...

im thinkin about takeing the old box i orignaly had in my wall and makeing it a little smaller, by cuting the port down about 4-8 inches (not sure yet i havent figured what tone to tune it to) and moveing the wall up higher so the subs arent so close to the floor.

what would be my options with the old box?

cut it down and tune it to what note for spl for fun, and bass boxing for winning purposes

i dont want to do the port plug deal because of the work invloved, i want to be as lazy as possible since the box weighs about 400 lbs and ill be doing all the work alone lol

or should i scrap out my old box, build new boxes for each sub port each (all 12 boxes built exactly the same) and then do a wall face on all the boxes ( so if i wanted to play 3 subs i could 6 subs or what ever amount i wanted being each is in its own box)

so point blank im just looking for input and ideas

or should i sell all 12 of the subs and go with x amount of 12 15 or 18's

so maybe something like 9 of my 10s in the wall and keep the tone the same?

or 6 subs in the wall and what port area would you recomend

power would be something id have to work on geting more of, i only have 3 amps that do 600-700 watts rms at 2ohm at the moment

Looks like a late '80s body style E-series cargo van //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif There's nothing behind the front seats for ten feet...

yes the port is on the drivers side and the bottom of the box is 13.5 inces off the floor (was) completly seald from the rear of the van from the b pillar forward

lol from the bpillar back i had 9.5 feet from the dog box i had 11-12 feet to work with lol so a wall didnt mess up my daily jod doing construction , 8 foot goods only hung out 1.5 feet from the back door with the wall in place
