Look What Ups Brought Me Today 58lbs

that first pic is gonna kill you....whoever packed it did a shitty job on the bottom around the motor.....I lost a claim because of this....FEDEX said if you dont put some bracing on the bottom of the box with a 60lb weight on the bottom, theress no way tape and bubble wrap is gonna protect it from a drop, or a slide on the floor. I would blame the shipper as well as UPS, unless it was RE and then 100% them. Just my opinion....

I packaged it to the point where the sub would not budge when shaken. Me and Boom are working it out but you can tell UPS messed with it cause that hole in the bottom with the tape on it was definatly not there. Thank god for insurance.

Regardless of how it was packed. They dropped it . By the looks of things they dragged it all over the place wearing the bottom out to the point the motor started to show. Well one to many times it was probably picked up and it fell out the bottom of box. Then I think they hurried and put it back in the box and taped the shit out of it making it look like it never happened. FUnny how there is a hole wore in the bottom of the box yet the tape is fine?????Also the sub was wrapped in a plastic bag that was also wore right through.

There was a bunch of packaging at the bottom, Im guessing when the box got torn to shit it came out and they taped up the hole. Me and Boom are taking care of this with UPS but its very clear UPS beat the crap out of that thing

Well i mean it's given that ups is gonna toss the box around has to go from conveyor belt to conveyor belt, and truck to truck. Plus at 58lbs and what looks like, don't quote me on this i'm not sure, no foam or some stiffer support that subs will wear through that box.

yeah they dropped it, every shipping company drops packages...when you pay that extra money to let the UPS store pack it then youre covered......when you ship yourself YOU make sure your shits tight. when i ship something i make SURE that bish could be run over by a UPS truck and survive. I had the exact same issue with FEDEX 3 years ago...yeah they dropped it, wore thru the packaging, re-taped it, got it wet and STILL DENIED it. $500 lesson learned on packing 60lb subs....They are gonna say bobble wrap p-nuts whatever is not enough support for a 60LB weight in the bottom of the SINGLE PLY box......

The box was made to hold the weight of 58lbs++. The box was rated for 65lbs per sq in. Now if it wasnt rated to hold the weight then ya sure I could see it then. Also those assholes from UPS were going to leave the package in the rain today because my mom didnt get the door when the first knocked.
