Obviously SB amps...because if you jump into SPL, your gonna be unlimited.
Impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.Well...I'm figuring if you paid $2500/amp x2 amps, you had to raise $5000.
Now, if you were selling pounds of decent-grade weed at $3000 per pound (grossing $188/ounce), it would depend on whether you grew it yourself or if you were buying it and reselling it.
If you were buying it at a price of, say, $150/ounce for $2400/pound, you would net $600 per pound sold (assuming you don't siphon off some of your profits by smoking your inventory). At net profit of $600/pund, you would need to sell 8.33 pounds. So, you'd have to buy 9 pounds and sell 8.33 pounds to get the requisite funds to purchase the amps. At the conservative rate of selling 4 ounces per week, it would take about 1 month to turn over a pound of weed. Therefore, it would take you about 8.5 months of selling weed to get be able to buy the amps.
If you were selling pounds at a time with the same profit margin, then it would depend on how strong your "market" is and your access to medium-quantity distributors.
On the other hand, if you were growing your own weed, you'd only have to sell 2 pounds at $3000/pound. You'd spend $5000 on the amps and $1000 on lighting/electrical costs, soil (scratch this expense unless you are growing hydroponically) and nutrients, assuming you already have incurred the sunk costs of setting up your grow operation.
Using the above retail sales model to estimate how long it would take for him to have sold the 2 pounds: 1/4 pound/week=1 pound/month x2=2 months. If you were selling the weed by the pound, it would only take one or two transactions, tops. How long it would take you to line up 2 deals again depends on your market and your contacts.
Gee, I'm glad I got that MBA.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif
Its not the exact same amp...It is one of the first series for that price...and they had bad power supply problems. You need to know certain amps before you buy them. A lot of first series big amps have power supply problems that arn't discovered till they get in the field...Even the early DD Z1's had power supply problems...most sold before April of this year...My 4 Z1's are the 2nd series...they have been corrected.....All I have to say is you better know your amps...That is why I choose these over the Warlord...The power supply in it closely resembles the first generation Atomic 5000.1's very closely...I have a feeling we'll be hearing problems on those when a few get in the field...Then see how good service is...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.giftheres someone here on the forums selling the same exact amps for 800.00$
