Building a box for my truck. It's a 2006 Silverado Crew Cab z71. The enclosure is 1 ft^3 sealed; it will house two 8" assassin's 'running off of a zx750.1. Carpeting on this was a PITA; i think it turned out **** good, though. It's sitting on some .5x1.5" slats so it will sit over top of the tire iron.

I'll post pics as the equipment comes in for me to install it all.

Some HT enclosures; built by BJ Fisher. They'll house some Dayton 5.25" mids and Dayton 1 1/8" silk dome tweeters. .48 ft^3 vented enclosure tuned to 47.5hz

They've had two more coats of paint on them since the pictures.

Xover design for it:

It's crossed at 2250hz.

I'm about to construct the crossovers, then install the drivers in the cabinets.

More pics soon!

Looks good man. Just a quick note if you don't already know it. When doing sides and things like that, go ahead and glue one part of the carpet down and fold the other part on top of it. After doing that, take a straight edge and run down folded part with a razor blade (make sure to cut through all layers) After that you can peel up the part you already glued down and you should have a straight lind going down the box with only 1 seam. Hopefully you understand what I am saying. It is kinda hard to expalin. If you don't understand PM me and I'll take some pictures of it.

I understand exactly; it's alot harder though when you're dealing with that many different sides.

Lookin' good, mang!Did you have a good birthday?

And did that LOC work out okay for your sister's install?
It was great; and the LOC I'm actually going to end up using on my truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Wiring is on it's way, but I can't afford the amp right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Redid the crossover's last night; took the L-Pad out. I'm testing this using my Zune right now, and with pretty much 0 power and a sloppy signal, it sounds very nice. I can't wait to send them some juice! :)

Pics tonight
