That is a nice head unit. A buddy of mine had one. The "illumination-failed statement bothers me tho.

The rotary remote is probably the coolest and easiest I have seen yet. It made controlling the HU a breeze!

ya, hard to say what's wrong with it

could be as simple as a bent or broken pin, or it could be a problem with the main unit itself
