I don't understand the fascination with size/cost of an engagement ring. It's actually something that bothers me quite a bit, seems like all girls care about is size/how much it costs.
I know for **** sure, the bigger the ring =/= the more you care. its just dumb and anytime I hear somebody talking about it I get aggrevated

Nice ring, but IMO, diamonds should be left for THE proposal. You , now have set the bar 0.75ctw higher then it was previously. Theres plenty of other awesome stones out there, stay away from diamonds til its time!

I actually researched this and have read anywhere between a month to six months

the amount of money should be irrelavant. When I shop for presents I find something that I (or the person I'm buying for would like ) then see if it fits in my budget
