any idea what model it is?

i hooked it up to a 1000 watt amp and sounded pretty good

The original L7 was the first square sub Kicker made, that's the first L7 that came out... no L5 at that time, it came later.

Thats an l5................. l7s had the silver and black and red cone when the l5s were black

IIRC the first square solobaric WAS a black L7. L5's werent release till the next year.
