look what i found at my doorstep! *pics*

finally got her i see, makes me miss mine now. Are you going to run another amp besides the crossfire, if so put the anl fuseholder and fuse about 6 inches from the battery and run the power wire to a distro block(a fused one), then run a power wire to the crossfire and the other amp, if not just place the fuse 6 inches from the battery and run the power wire straight to the amp. Love the amp, my only problem is that the bass knob is cheap. It can easily get stripped. whats if hooking up too

what if im not running another amp?

can I strap another vr600d to the vr1000d? Or does it have to be another 1000d? Cuz ive noticed that the vr1000d heats up a lot cuz my woofers are 700rms a peice and their 2. I guess i have the gains a lil high cuz i have them in sealed enclosures in my single cab truck which really blows. I need to take some measurements so i can get sum1 to design a ported enclosure that will fit my truck, hopefully //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . Dont get me wrong I love the sound im getting right now and it thumps really good for lil old sealed enclosures nah mean, but right now im thinking about my amp and its life duration. so help me out ppl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Locate the fuseholder as close as possible (within a few inches) to the amp and you'll be good.
I'd personally like the fuse near the battery incase the wire gets knicked so I don't burn my car down. but then again I run 0awg to the rear batts and amps and not a single fuse besides what's on the amps when applicable if they're non fused I don't have any fuses //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif luckily I havn't burned a car down yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

(answer if you know about crossfire amps) Welll it says at the back of the box that it requires that I upgrade my battery and alt cuz even though its very effecient it's capable of drawing 120 amps which is dangerous for stock bat/alt. what do you think I should do?

Also I found out that this amp requires no fuses! How is this? Or is it the fuse holder somewhere i dont know?
What rating in amps is your alternator?

The rating of the subs has absolutely nothing to do with how hot the amp gets.
I guess i have the gains a lil high
That, however will have everything to do with an amp running hot. Set your gain right.

As far as the fuse goes, fuse it near the battery and you're good to go.
