The HDC3 series are drop dead gorgeous woofers. That newly designed 12 spoke that they and DD use is awesome, so much more clearance and ventilation than the standard 12 spoke.

what kind of power will that beast take daily? I see its rated for 1000 RMS, Will it perform well with the Kicker ZX1500.1?

I emailed AQ/DJ about when the Alum coils come into play and this is what he said. "Alum coils for over 3500 watt burps or over 2500 daily."

that sub can take that power of that amp @ 1ohm and some more on a clean signal

My GF doesnt like having headaches I will be getting a 2nd one and dropping the amp to 1ohm to run both of them or maybe I should get a second 2200d :O
