Seriously, what is that amp rated at? Did you have the gain all the way up?

Did it eventually blow?

yes i went whoop whoop.
the amp is rated at 2 x 30w RMS, 200 max. I had the gain and the bass up all the way on that speaker, which is rated at 20w RMS. And it didnt blow. I might hook it up to my LA amp and send it 400w RMS

Gain all the way up as in maximum input sensitivity or minimum input sensitivity?

that us amp is small, but you can see that is way better designed than the pyramid amp. it is simple but thats all thats needed for the power that puts out.

nice and simple switching power supply, push pull class a/b transistor config. not bad.

i doubt that that pyramid amp even puts out 15wrms. you should measure the a/c voltage at 60hz and calculate the wattage.

they have been in business since as long as I can remember,when I was around 17-18 or so I bought a Pyramid item(I think an EQ) and it was DOA right out of the box that was 1984-1985

They have been making junk for quite a long time and are still in business

making junk......Amazing IMO that they can still stay afloat and from a business stand point and

if you can make garbage and get rich I say power to ya!

they make theyr money from noobs in the audio industry and from people that dont have allot of cash flow to invest in a desent sound system and from people that belive everything they read.

its sad but true. they make crap and people buy it.
