Yeah I wasn't all that serious about the her being crazy thing, but I can agree on having a 2 year engagement since I don't have all that money saved up gives us time.

I married the queen of crazy so it's all good. I took her out of the market so no one else had to deal with it. lol We lucked out and had a decent wedding that she wanted and her parents payed for it so it's a win win. We have our ups and downs but overall, it's pretty good. I wouldn't change anything about it.

We kept things simple, did a lot of our own decorations/favors (my wife is good at that stuff), had friends in the flower business help, shopped around like crazy for the rest, and still came up to close to $3000.

congrats, treat her right. loving somebody like that means putting her needs/wants before yours. never have her have to wonder how you feel about her. let her know you love her every chance you get. never go to sleep angry. communication is truly key, discuss everything, fugg those that call you puzzy whipped. you never know when's the last time you speak, so ALWAYS say i love you....no matter what. and remember, both people can be right as well as wrong. the word tells us we become twain, forsaking all others for each other.

To the OP, sadomasochism is a personal choice, and all. Old ball and chain, and such. Marriage is one way to skip over those particular joys of youth and foolishness, and all that. Monogamy also cuts down on those difficult choices of blonde vs/ brunette vs/ redhead, I reckon. Good way to trim your friends-list, too.
