He wasnt exactly handed a basket full of roses to work with... Closing Gitmo I honestly dont have much of an oppinion on, on the bailout package, it was needed, and it would have come no matter who was in office.

Besides, neither of those things have had any impact on the economy (yet). The economy was screwed before he was in office, even before he was elected (echo, echo, echo).
