Evan (used to be a rduh cronie) came to roe and makes a post saying steve told him chinese steel was inferior to american steel and carried gauss more efficiently (or something of the sort, been a long few years) and steve later shows up to affirm this.. which of course is far from true.
Oh and lets not forget the time steve says "I personally have ALL parts shipped to ME, where I inspect them, and then send them to sja".. I call him on this (if you cant trust your buildhouse, it is time to move buildhouses) he then changes the story to "oh, i said only prototypes get sent to me!" no you didnt, douche.

I know about all this. Here is how he tests/inspects his prototype amps. Gets them in, opens up the back of the amp, takes pics of the internals, posts them on the forums and starts a presale. I have watched him test new subs, but half the time they are damaged when the are shipped out from SJA.

Ed Lester I'd like to see mlstrass be as serious as you guys are about the "sport" he took first in pretty much all the comps I saw him enter.

Most of us really started competing this year. I thought we did pretty good.

Steve has allready said his CS issues have hurt him and he is doing his best to fix it, not to sure what else alot of you expect from him.

within a few months, I emailed steve about some products and prices and he was anything but shady and was very helpful, maybe I caught him ona few good days, but I would love to get some RD equipment in the future and dont see anything wrong w/ people having to pay $20-30 bucks to send amps back. You already got them for a really cheap price, and sometimes shit happens, it's uncontrollable. I'm only 20 years old but I understand business fairly well, and even though Steve looks to have had a few bumps along the way, I think he'll do just fine and RD will no doubt keep getting bigger every year.

I do have to "kinda" agree.. not the worst ive seen, and the quality did look good, just wouldnt have used the colors chosen myself and ya, matt doesnt care for aq last i checked (that may have changed, i dont know)

No it's not an SQ comp car, yes the stage is up high on the glass and has decent width and depth. I've spent some time with the 880 and learned how to tune things.

But for the shows we attend loud is all they care about, so I took out the good tweeters and HPF the mids higher, etc... so SQ isn't as good now.

So why could it not have any form of SQ with the equipment installed? MUCH more about the install and tuning ability then the actual equipment as I assume you know.
