There is no way. He would have to consistently get almost 40 dollars a day every single day the entire year.

You have lost your mind if you do not think they can do that... Them guys can easily make 300 bucks sitting on the corner... We tried getting a guy to come help us wire some houses one day and he told us he could sit out there for an hour during rush hour morning traffic and make twice what we would pay him..

Also a big city though, but 40 is nothing to make with a sign and looking rough. It is very easy to make people feel sorry for you, as much as it looks the majority of people still have big hearts. Whether deep down inside you know its probably going to crack

Very true, pan handlers here in vegas can make upto 500.00 a day on the right corner...Favorite corner in all of vegas, sahara and the strip...Their favorite corner not mine...HAHAHA

i wouldnt have called him out on the money, but rather the principle behind it. if someone takes advantage of my kindness, and abuses it right in front of me.

my point exactly .. hell i was hard up one day walked around walmart for about 2 hours asking random people for a dollar .. i left with $160 .. not a bad days work .. ( and a **** good night) and i dont look homeless and didnt have a sob story just said "excuse me ma'am do you have a dollar i can have?" someone in a big city on the street can make LOTs of money

I work at a grocery store too, and this shit is beyond ridiculous. Women dressed in nurses scrubs come in with their four children and buy $200 in groceries with EBT foodstamps for them, their friends, and practically anyone else they know.

You guys are hilarious thinking that only blacks do things like this. I'm not trying to get into a racial thing here but it's pretty funny that I constantly see whites and blacks begging for money and mexicans are always looking to work for money outside of home depot and whatnot (and they're the one considered lazy). Anyways, I don't feel bad for bums and never hand them money. Everyone that was born in this world has the same chance of a good future (some might have to work harder than others) but don't have the drive or motivation to do it.

I was in the store a few days ago and saw 2 lady's and their kids buying three shopping carts full of nice expensive food. Steaks, chicken, fish, etc etc..

Pays for it all with food stamps and while its getting checked out is explaining to her friend that she is so excited about the two week vacation their taking to Disney World/Orlando in a few weeks..

Im in the same line with Ramen Noodles and a box of breakfast cereal worrying about getting laid off as my company just opened a plant doing our exact job in china.

All parties (Including myself) are Black.

i also work in a grocery store in the ghetto part of my town. the drugs arent bad compared to jacksonville or westpalm but there is alot of it. anyway people ride up shakin the windows with their stupid *** l7's in their expedition on 24's. go to the meat section and hit up the goodshit then go down the ceral isle and grab everything that says wic approved. then pay with wic checks and foodstamps. while im workin my *** off 35hours a week (im 17 lol) for gas money and car payments and saving up for a sundown lol

this guy comes into my store everyday asking for $2. always has a diff story, "im $2 short for a bus tix to go see my dying brother" or "someone broke into my place and stole all my food, i need $2 for a can of click"

i know its just so he can go and buy a king can, hes a bad alcoholic.

he must make alot of $$ doing that cause i always see him walking with 5 or 6 king cans a few times a day.

I was at one point homeless in the street for a few months.

I got kicked out of my house and a little while after I totalled my car hitting a deer going 65 on the highway.

Also, when you're 19 with no credit... its hard you cant:

Rent a room in most hotels

Rent a car

Get a loan

Get assistance with anything(HUD etc, etc)

Very hard to find an apartment with no credit/references/bank account

I ended up having to try to keep a clean appearance and ride a bicycle about 18 miles round trip to three separate job interviews... just for this one job.

Anyways... thats my story... so If I ever see a homeless guy that seems liek a decent person.. or is trying to change his position.... Id help em out.
