the most hated rival is the cowboys btw, just saying
im a dallas fan btw

im just saying, the NFC east has great rivalries, you can put any team vs any team in ANY season and it will be a tough game for either team.

Kolb looked good last season...in two games. McNabb has lead the Eagles deep in the playoffs numerous times. This trade was a mistake...
Can't say it hasn't worked for other teams in the past.

Look at the Chargers. After Brees first or second very good seasons the chargers traded him to the Saints. Philip Rivers an unproven rookie. Look at them now.

Not to mention you gotta remember these coaches know these players better than you and I will ever know in a thousand lifetimes and have seen them, worked out with them etc.

That being said at the very least they have an outstanding first impression of Kevin Kolb.

The Chargers released Brees because he had a career threatening injury. Furthermore, the Chargers had just used a top pick on Rivers. These two situations aren't even similar...

trading a proven QB with faith that your backup is better?

Drew was not expected to make a full recovery and they were not willing to take the chance on him even though he played well. McNabb was not injured and they always blamed him for the playoff losses, but look at the sh!tty receiving core he had to work with season after season (Owens excluded).
