While I was looking through my warranty booklet yesterday it says that any act of "God" ie: floods or other such natural disasters aren't covered. I just thought that was kind of funny and odd at the same time? What about the people who don't believe in God, do the same rules still apply to them? Just some food for thought

i guess that means if something happens god dosent want you to have the product and alpine dosent want to piss off god?

Acts of God are acts that can't be otherwise explained. If a badger randomly jumped in your car, ripped your HU to shreds, peed on your baby, and ran, it would be an Act of God because you can't classify it as damage by anything else.

If you're not religious, you'll have to take it in stride, because whoever validates the warranty must be.

An "Act of God" is defined as an event that is beyond human power to cause, prevent, or control.
If you're not religious, just think of it as a legal term.

Many warranties that I have read state this in them. There is a lot of things that are not covered when an "Act of God" occurs.

If I was the owner of Alpine, I wouldnt change the "Act of God" in the manuals even if people complained about it. This country started around our "God" and I dont think we need to change that really. Its been like that for over 200 years...why change now. If you dont like it...go back to where ever the hell you came from...thats what I think.
