So I walk into my spanish class, and it is a decent sized room and as soon as I walk in I hear this bass cause my teacher was playing some spanish music. I sit at my desk and I look by where his laptop is in the middle of the room and I see 2 little logitech speakers and like a 4" sub. Man that little thing put out, it sounded very good for only 2 speakers and a sub connected to a little boom box.

No "computer speakers" I've heard sounded very good to me...you need to build your own to really get great sound quality out of them.

Fortunately, you could build a pair and a sub for relatively cheap.

IMO, no computer speakers sound great ... and Logitechs generally rank fairly low on my of computer speakers as far as SQ goes ... However, most Logitech systems are very capable in terms of output ...
jMac! haven't you heard the Klipsch Promedia 5.1? That's THX, baby!

I have the Logitech 5.1 system...

Bass is incredible. SQ not really there. But I was going to buy the Klipsch 5.1 system for my computer but they sounded identical to the Logitech series but the Klipsch cost another $100! There pretty good computer speakers imo

I prefer the klipsch promedia's if I was looking to buy a dedicated speaker setup for my computer. But I just use a stereo receiver and 2 12" sony floorstanding speakers and a set of JBL Sat 10's running with the Bass 6 sub (dual 6 1/2"s)

I think my computer speakers are Logitech... and **** they ****. But they still do the trick until I get a CD burnt and play it on a real system. But logitech makes the best mouse... I got one... had it for like 5 years with no problems.

I have a hand-me-down Altec Lansing 2.1 set...

They sound...well, like they were given to me, to tell the truth. And no multimedia speaker setup that I have ever heard - whether it be on a computer in a house, displayed in a store, wherever - sounded worth the asking price.

I listened to the Klipsch setup...they sounded overpriced, IMO.

But my pc isn't used as a source of really listenable music. It recreates the various video games I play well enough and that's all it needs to do, I reckon.

O/T: Not pc speakers but ~ I had a set of Klipsch Tangent T40 towers and a set of KG4 shorties once. Even for entry-level Klipsch they were...awesome. Really tough bass for 8s with 12" passive radiators.

KG4's are very decent speakers...91dB/W, IIRC.

You'd have to go to the full-size Forte's to get a noticeable improvement from them.

And let's just say...my Forte II's kick some sonic ***.
