Lock/Unlock wiring for security system

I finished up wiring my van with an alarm, solid soldered connections and overall a very clean install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif and everything works perfectly EXCEPT the main point of it which was keyless entry! The darn lock/unlock feature won't work. I knew that my van has a positive locking system, and the alarm manual has a diagram for how to wire a positive locking system, but I crossed my fingers and wired it as if it had a negative lock system, because it was way more simple, but no luck. I have scanned my Haynes manual and the alarm manual and attached them onto this thread. If someone could help me out a little here it would make me very very happy. Also, the lock/unlock relay does not look like the one provided in the alarm manual, it doesn't have 5 prongs on it, it's a different style relay, not a big deal I can follow path of the wire on the circuit board. Thanks guys

EDIT: 1996 Astro

What type of van? It may need a resistor in the circuit. Also did you try wiring it as a positive type system? What type of alarm module are you using? DEI electronics makes a relay pack that is about 20 bucks with an assortment of resistors with a chart for various vehicle typyes

No I did not because I don't know how to, that's my question //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I JUST added the pictures, sorry about that, if you could take a look please, and it's a '96 astro. I'll add that in my post also.

Why on earth would you just wire up the wrong way and hope the car woudn't notice?

Relays aren't that difficult even if you have to bite the bullet and buy a couple at Radio Shack. Also some vehicles have a black box you can buy that wires to your alarm and is just power/ground and a couple taps into some wires to your cars computer. If available those are always time savers.
