Local shops FTL / W

well a while back i called it "****"ing the customer and a bunch of peeps started baggn and flamn about it they say its because of "overhead" so their overhead justifies over chargeing for simple products

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nutkick.gif.acc8dcd6c1bd27fba0cbeda5b212085c.gif what can you say theres no limit on what they charge i guess as long as people pay it they will keep chargeing it

now if the store has a nicer look to it, its obviously aimed for a different kind of customer...

i mean i can go to the town over and pic up some stuff cheap, but i mean the ****in place does there installs outside the store in like a dirt lot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

the expensive store, definately. but i dont care how nice of a store it is if I can't afford f'n RCA's.
I mean... the expensive store made Tweeter look like Big Lots.

Ever priced monster rca's at circut chitty ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

type r 15 here new is 500 plus tax

Local shop here asked $600 for a DD 2515. Friend asked him about a 3512 and he goes "to much for you", friend goes "I got 2 grand in my wallet right now you fat ****" and left lol. Turns out he got a new car.

I haven't been to any of the shops here in Orlando, but back in Ocala, I could not find one shop with nice and knowledgeable people. The circuit city used to have a really awesome install crew but they got tired of the managment and left. It was really sad to see decent installers leave and joe random take over.

Store 1's layout was nice, but it definately wasn't the nciest shop I've been in. Store 2's layout isn't as pretty, but it gets the job done just as well. Both have good install facilities, both sell reputable brands (store 1= RF, Kicker, Alpine, Kenwood; Store 2 = Memphis, Coustic, Soundstream, Cadence, Quantum)

Quantum eh?! Always wondered about those subs.....a friendof mine got 3 Quantum 12"s (orange cones) about 5 or 6 years ago from a local pawn shop and had them in his 95 fleetwood Brouham (sp?) and they got loud as shit but he was clipping big time and kept over excurting and breaking the tensil leads....

You know where I can look up quantum?Always wondered if they were decent or another crap sub...

i like my audiopipe rca's, which ones were they? i have the all blue ones

Yeah I like them too,I bought my G/F's AA Assassin 10"s gave her my old Profile CA600M amplifier and all she needed was an amp wiring kit....Went to my least favorite car audio shop (727 customs) and we got her an Audiopipe 4 guage amp wiring kit for like $20-$25.
