Local shop...Fastest Street supra in the World ENGINE PICS!

This supra was built by SP RACING, based out of the Suburbs of Chicago. They specialize in Supras. I went in there the other day and they had like 10 of them in the shop. Good guys, good guys

I went to the Union Grove Race track in Wisconsin this weekend with my uncle and his 1/9 QUICKSILVER 1998 Supra TT's EVER built!! (thats another story, but this shop saw it and told us that it was 1/9) Anyways... This is a 1450HP to the wheels at full tilt. They run UP TO 70LBS of boost!!! Takes a 200shot Nitrous just to get the turbo up to speed!!

And here is the biggest turbo and downpipe I/probably many of you have ever seen!! 6 1/2"!!!!!



here is a clip of the Supra they built for this guy Marco. I believe he had the WW last year, but he wasnt a part of the team so they didnt get the name on the record... BUT he was at the track the othernight with his F430 and raced SP's 350Z... got SMOKED!! 0-60 in 1 SEC.!!!



If any of you want any more info on the shop let me know. They travel to all the major races in the country. They are really cool guys. Great customer service. The will sit there and talk to you for as long as you want/answer any questions, shoot the shznit!

Thats intercooler/intake piping isnt it? The downpipe is on the bottomside of the turbo which goes towards the muffler (or lack of? lol). That is INSANE though. Biggest turbo I've ever seen. I've seen a 1000 hp supra in Turbo magazine and another 1000+ hp supra at hot import nights but never something like this.

they do sell them...not like as in a car lot that sells supras, but they sell em when they are done with them.. .ACTUALLY.. THAT SUPRA IS FOR SALE!!! $100K starting price right now. They want to start a re-build with a 3.4L engine. That is actually the original 98' Supra 3.0 Engine!! Ran a 8.3? BTW at the track with a jumpy start, and at like 45LB/Boost.
