so a couple years ago we had 2 audio shops in lancaster. well, 3 that are well known. weebee, tweeter and circuit city. Weebee has been around for 18 years, so obviously they arent that bad. Well over the years i have spend a ridiculous amount of money there. I actually even became close friends with the guy who does the car audio, and hung out with him, parties and just chillin away from the shop. Anyway, i never really liked going to weebee because they are the local overpriced cocky assholes. theres times where you could spend more on an instal than what u spent on ur gear.

So up until recently, as some of you know, ive decided to step away from mainstream, jl, and go a different, better route. well that still put me in the position of a box. so i went in to weebee, talked to my boy about a box and he hooked me up(or is still in the process). So he asked me why, i told him i bought res and am done with jl. well he got kinda annoyed, but he knows whatsup and knows re. so my box has taken 2 days, which was actually supposed to have been done yesterday. i go in today to give him a sub, cuz they apparently needed it to cut the hole right. well when i was there, he musta been really pissed cuz he wanted to talk a whole lot and re isnt anything and there trash and hes gonna hook it up and prove to me the w6 will kill the res. which i dont believe. well anyways, i got annoyed, and i dont trust my stuff even being there, so after this box, im finished, this was the last straw

just had to vent, i got pissed

but i wouldnt jump to conclusions yet

i stopped goin to a local guy when he shorted me $10 for a sac-o-grass (principle... long story though)... stopped that day.. used to go there and hang out every week+ used to work there

You have an entire website dedicated to stereo's. Nobody should be paying for boxes unless you just want them "pretty". Every resource you could ask for is here. Besides, with you giving him the power to build the box he can build it anyway he wishes, even if it makes the sub **** so his JL's will sound better and you've wasted cash.

im hoping he doesnt even touch em. i dont think he will, cuz hes not like that but theres always that chance. and im not getting a fancy box or anything, its just dual ported 2 12s tuned for the subs. i just got the box at cost, which is cheaper than anybody else would charge. but hes just the salesman, not the installer so im hoping itll be straight.

trying not to just to conclusions yet, but it just all ties in to the original feeling about that place. so i hope im wrong and everythings fine.

any way i could tell if they were wired up and played? cuz the sub shouldnt even be in the box cuz i have the second sitting right here

^ thats the thing tho, i dont know the installers on a personal level, but i know there good and honest. its just my boy who is the salesman, i think hes pissed cuz i sold the stuff he hooked me up with, for better, and he knows it

ehhhh i doubt it, i actually even did the box in the back so i know its just been built. but its just everything else just added up and im no longer taking my business there. there screwing themselves anyway. the guy ive been talking about, is really really big into cars, and the owner of weebee agreed to cut away a garage in the back for a 1 stop shop. oil change, car wash, detailing, body kits anything you could imagine. imo, its a stupid move, but its not my shop
