Linear Power 652IQ

Hey guys,

I was digging through some old stuff and dug up my old Linear Power amp. It was an awesome little amp and I abused the crap out of it for years without a problem(I ran it WAY out of spec).

I was wondering if anyone knows much about this amp. It is spec'd at 32.5 watts into 4 ohms, but I'm not sure if that is RMS or peak. I think it is RMS, but was just looking for verification.

I'm currently running my DEI woofer/Aura tweeter combo off my Kenwood head unit, but I imagine the speakers would sound way better with this amp. The question is, do I need a whole new amp kit to hook this up, or can I piggy back it off my subwoofer amps lines? I don't really have time to hook up an amp all the way back to the battery, but I could probably handle getting it hooked up if I could splice the connection from my sub amp.

I guess another question is just whether or not it'd be worth hooking this amp up for a 32x2 amp, or if I should hold out for more power. I imagine it would be good, and I know Linear Power was considered a good amp back in the day, so it seems like a good thing...

Mike
