All you do is run from posts. What does your whole Canada/USA rant have to do with anything? You judged me based on where I am from, and I said how typical of you to do so, since you judge everything by where you think it fits in the political spectrum. Then you turn that into a rant about how you don't want the US to become more western European.
So Palin has no short-comings?
Not as short as the dudes she would be running against.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Hopefully by then Obama's records will be looked over even though he was elected with them sealed. Funny how he cries about others not being forthcoming yet he is 20 times less forthcoming isn't it?
I also think it is hilarious that someone who can't even vote here and doesn't pay taxes here pretends to know what goes on here. Do you visit the U.S. often? Do you think those countries who whine about us would ever turn down our support?
Would they be upset if we turned down supporting them for anything? Do you actually think the media doesn't spin or ignore any part of reality when they publish or broadcast their stories?
Bush isn't even my guy and I like Clinton a lot better but between the two who gets the coverage of helping nations in Africa? Who actually did more? Would the answer to this be ideological or factual?
Would it be great to have a better health care system? YES, but it will cost our country either way. Obama's way, more than likely, would allow insurance companies to start having more of say in what we eat and how we take care of ourselves much like the way they do now to get a good policy rate. The people running our government also like the fact that illegals are here and want to provide for them from our tax money. Not that I dislike people in general or illegal aliens but fact is when there are American citizens struggling to find work and are stuggling to simply get by week to week or even day by day, I do have an issue with with handouts to illegals. Is it the humanitarian way to make people who follow our rules and pay taxes suffer so that people who are not here legally get our jobs? Illegals get paid less and in most cases the employer and the worker do not pay into the system. We are a nation of 300+ million people and of those millions of people we are paying for millions of others who are not even in the system, yet those who are paying or at sometime at least paid into the system get thrown under the bus. Is this ideological or factual?
I do not have the answer to the problems but I would feel better knowing there is a plan in place other than "yes we can", because so far all that is happening now is spending money we don't have in stimulous packages that are loaded down with pork that historically FAILED in other countries like Japan and in Japan they didn't have the pork issue. Results from Japan's ordeal is exactly 180 degrees different than what Obama and congress say it will be. I guess Japan should have said "yes we can" a few times....
I never voted for Bush and I do not consider him a conservitive much less even a centralist. Those in power during the bail out vote wanted the bail out. Those that voted for the bail out were also vastly anti Bush, but hey they voted for it and for some reason they are not RESPONSIBLE for the way they voted. No true conservitive nor centralist would dump that kind of money into ANYTHING without at least trying to fix it so it would not happen again. Now the government strangely enough has stock in finacial institutions. To my knowledge in my life time that is a first as the last time we bailed out our savings and loan in the late 80's it was a loan. A popular excuse here is "Bush did it", swell but fact is it was still voted on and could and should have been rejected. The issue with this whole mess was brought up in 1999-2000 by Clinton, 2001, 2003 by Bush and 2005 by other members of congress with McCain as a co sponser. All was ignored and laughed at or declared false by the very people who now lead the financial commitees in congress:crazy:. Yup these are the people to fix it alright. 8 years and 1.5 trillion dollars too late, and from what I hear that is not even half of what it will be. I guess I never realized that taking a bit of responsability was an ideological mess or actually having a plan was idealogical, just as right or wrong somehow must be ideological.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Is some sort of true oversight ideological too?
