i agree on it will never be the same...but without pat and lil wyte, i really don't care for the three 6 albums....a couple songs are good on it at best. Most of pat's songs are good on his album, as for lil wyte....although the one and only was a lil disappointing to me

doubt me now was excellent. every song was great , imo. pat was good too , i just never really like his shit as much as i did chat , wyte and everyone else. wytes previous group , shelby forest click, was great too. hes probably one of my favorite rappers.

You guys aren't rap critics. So, wtf does anyone here think they need to talk about rappers' lyrics? Let it go already. There's only a handful or rappers who aren't saying the same shit as every other one out there, and there are even fewer who tell the truth when they rap. And no, Wayne isn't either of those, but I don't care. He's decent, and his style is to my liking. So is all the other music I listen to. Decent, and to my liking.

I see your point. Pretty good analogy...and I'll take it a bit further. We all give opinions on products, right? What are the credentials here to judge this? It should be experience and for some it is. But, sadly it's mainly "opinions". Everyone's got one, and it shows in this thread.

With car audio, I try not to speak on something I don't know; that's my credentials- first hand experience. I don't just say "xxx brand sucks" if I haven't dealt with it or specifically a product of that company. And what is really bad is hardly anyone here does that, rather it's an opinion of how someone thinks it would sound. There's way too much internet experience 2nd hand...no 1st hand experience.

That relates to how people here bag lyrical talent. I don't know lyrical ability because I'm not a rapper, and I've never tried to rap, so I can't speak on that. I think it's a bit more than saying "he sucks". Why does he ****? What makes others so much better? If we're playing the "I know because I listen to it" game, then shit, I can't name any rappers I know of that blow me away with lyrics.

Having said all of that, of course there are times for an opinion. But, saying that the lyrical ability sucks without any sort of reason is a statement not even worth making. Just like anything else, you should have some sort of basis for a generalized rationale. Otherwise you're just as stupid as the statements you make.
