Lil Wayne is FLAWED

He's not that talented //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Some of you guys need to start listening to some better music, or at the very minimum some better rap.

I like it too, great album. He's gone downhill ever since though.

Btw, you can't say The South don't have some good rappers! Bun-B, Andre, Scarface, Z-ro, Trae, and others, are holding it down. Along with Chamillionaire at times, his flow is ridiculous.

dont know if you're reffering to lil wayne or ludacris.

if you're reffering to my posts, i never said he was gods grace to rap. i just said i liked the album, and it was pretty good compared to almost all the southern rap ive heard.

scarface - yes

bun b - i actually wrote him down in an earlier post, and then got rid of his name because he doesnt stand out THAT much to me. way better than pimp c though. but i do give him the go ahead in my book.

z-ro - pretty good

trae - i have some good shit on my ipod from him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Trae isn't really lyrically talented.. but he raps pretty fast, makes some really good tracks, and his voice is one of a kind.

Bun-B is great because of his flow. It would be hard to not put him in my top 5 greatest flows of all time.

Z-ro and Scarface are consistently dope.

Other than those guys I just listed.. there aint much else the south has to offer, lol.

Bun B has the flow and presence on the mic to make him one of the south's best

Z-ro is prolly my favorite Texas rapper

Trae is dope

Chamillionaire is sick.. I will post a rapcity freestyle soon

I DO like lil Wayne.. IDC ur opinion, i will bump him for his witty and off the wall concepts

Ludacris is sick also.. he has a voice and presence...listen to Down in the Dirty feat Bun B

Cassidy is great, he has a Punchline rapper's flow.. and his wordplay is nice as hell.. he is very witty and on a whole other level with his IN YOUR FACE type shit..

eh, he doesnt rap too fast for me at all. i think it sounds just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

yea, but "My homies pt 2" was a ****ing disaster IMO. a REAL disaster lol. i cannot listen to that whole album. cant even get close to it.

Other than those guys I just listed.. there aint much else the south has to offer, lol.

I just saw Bun B in an interview on BET I believe, I couldn't believe how well spoken he is.
Indeed, he is a veteran.. he is the REAL KING OF THE SOUTH in my opinion.. he has been around so long and so respected.. all these young cats should look up to him

also I am suprised at how well spoken Kimbo Slice is..there is an interbiew of him on youtube that will make you think "Is this the same guy that fights in backyards"

im gonna have to see this to believe it. going to youtube now lol

My definition of a good song is pretty much a song that is based on ONE thing, and things relating to that one thing, if you can write all those lines about one thing, and make them rhyme and actually be understandable, then id say you have some skill.

Trae def has some good shit for a southern rapper, i dont mind listening to his lyrics actually, most rap now a days though is pretty much shit, yea i listen to jeezy but because i like the beat, which is the only reason i listen to rap at all. No newer rap period makes any sense to me, unless its something like afroman, luda, madvillian, common or mos def. Everything else i just listen to for the bass. Most of the stuff that i do actually "listen" to would be those guys and probably a few others, i listen to techno and alot of 80s and 90s rock/pop type shit like 38 special and whatnot.

My opinion on a few rappers -

Jeezy - Badass beats, but all he talks about is coke and killing ******s, and making snowmen in the winter time i guess

Paul wall - badass beats as well, but says extremely dumb shit, apparently he doesnt like to let his paint jobs dry before he gets the car from the paint booth, because its always dripping, he also talks about vice grips and wood grain too much. I think he has a thing for adjustable pliers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Lil wayne - Makes no sense at all, however his music is somewhat addicting, mainly like the beats. The dumb shit he says puzzles me though.

Afroman - good down to earth stuff, some people should download the album (afroholic - the even better times) he has some really good shit on there like drive better drunk, ghetto memories, caddy hop, and some others.

Luda - Good stuff for the most part, alot of his songs actually make sense, however the beats could be a tad better with more bass

I dont have a problem with listening to rap, i NEVER pay for it though, not worth the money, bittorrent P2P FTW!
