Lights on 9/11

On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 everyone in the USA who

will be driving a motor vehicle is asked to drive with their headlights

on during daylight hours. Though no explanation is needed as to why we

are commemorating September 11, we hope more importantly to pay

respect to the victims of that day, show our nation's solidarity and

show support for our men and women of the Armed Forces.

haha, well i am usually in an office building, riding in a cab, or flying in a plane...but if im in a car i will make sure the lights are on...

why, because someone is trying to spawn a grassroots effort to commemorate those who lost their lives in an attack on the us? trying to remember what is now a part of our history...

i wont say that i will be participating in it, i may if i remember, i most likely wont... but this isnt a silly idea to try and change something like the "dont pump gas on..." bs...

what do you have against 9/11 and remembering something that changed history altogether?

[controversial]I don't agree with the concept. This is a poor attempt at commemorating such an event. Personally, I think the impact of 9/11 is much smaller than many Americans believe, except that it has given the US a motive to practice the enforcement policies on 3rd world countries that has already earned them a great deal of international debate.[/controversial]
