Lights dimming from amp?

Hey guys, I just recently had a viper 1200d amp and 2 10inch w7s installed in my 2004 Ion2.

I was testing it out in my driveway and I had the engine running, I turned on the interior light and headlights, I pumped it up and the lights started to dim everytime the bass hit.

What should I do?

Btw, the battery is in the trunk, longer line to alternator means less power?

Should I just get a capacitator?

what gauge are you using for power wire...

have you upgraded your magic three yet...

4 gauge power wire.

I have not done the magic 3, nor do i know how to.

1. add a fused wire (of wire's max ampacity) from battery+ to alternator+

2. add another ground wire from battery- to chassis.

3. add another ground wire from engine block to chassis

wires should be probably at least 4ga

pretty simple...eh?

I installed a stinger hyper 4 gauge wiring kit, i have the fuse that came with that connected to the battery and amp.

When I install another ground from battery, should it be from the postive on the battery?

when grounding a wire from the engine to chasis, where do i connect it?

Negitive is the ground... so either the - Or black. Depends on how you look at it.
