Lightning Audio X1.10.VC2 - Reviews?

I'm looking at putting two Lightning Audio X1.10.VC2 (1000w RMS @ 2ohm) in my 2004 regular cab silverado. I have the box and airspace to do so, recommended SEALED airspace for this woofer is ~.60cu ft and I have 1.5cu ft in the box being made.

Question is, would this be a good sub for my purpose? I want it to be LOUD and obnoxious, I'm looking for amps as well and was looking at the new BOSS PD-4000 2 Ch. 4000 watt amp (900w rms x2).

How does this setup sound and will it be able to hit my goals? I want it to hurt your ears and be able to be heard outside the car with ease.. Thanks for reading and look forward to your replies!

I have a 15 right now and Ill tell you this, the woofer is definitely a vented woofer, really comes alive when ported...

I'm just thinking sealed is the way to go for me since I have a limited ammount of air space..

they work well in small boxes, but ridiculous in larger ported.

I had 2 12's in a large ported box in my ford ranger and they hit hard as hell.

That is a very good and loud sub.

but why te boss amp? what is your budget? maybe we can help you find a better amp for the price.

I'm not 100% on the BOSS I am just looking to spend around $350 on an amp and need it to be able to power these two 10's. I have an Audiobahn 1000w mono in the garage but doubt I want to use that, although it is a possibility.

I'm open to suggestions, I think these subs will do well though for me. They also have two 12" that I'm looking at, I love the low sound that I get from them.

also in the box I'm having made, there will be around 1.5cu ft. PER chamber, not for both.

or you put 1 in a ported.

1 ported sub powered fully will sound better than 2 underpowered sealed.

I plan on purchasing one LARGE 2 channel amp to supply the 1000w RMS they use and then a smaller 4 chan. for my components I am going to throw in as well.

pg rsd works nice in sealed truck boxes
