Lightning Audio Stirke S2.1000.1D

Anyone used this amp? It is supposed to put out 1000@ 1ohm. I have read the higher level LA amps (strike, storm) put out rated watts, is that right?

Yes they do. I had zero issues with either the Strike or Storm amps when I retailed them here when the line first came out a number of years back.

they are just as good and if not better than most of the fosgates. we sold both and for the time that the newer strike and storm stuff came out they tromped the equivilent rockfords that year... i actually met with kyle witherspoon (lightning tech designer) to go over these very technically and with him working for fosgate even stated these were actually built better and was a cleaner amp... just fyi....

Kyle was the Technical trainer as well as working on some of the bigger/badder Rockford Corp show cars (the 350Z, the Xterra). I'm pretty sure he didn't design them.
