Item(s) Description/Condition:

Amp is a 7/10 physically and 10/10 functionally. Under rated at 600 watts rms by 1 into 4 ohms and 1000 watts rms by 1 into 2 ohms . From what I have read and seen online this amplifier uses the same circuit design as the rockford fosgate bd1000. Fusing on the amplifier is 120 amps and its an older fosgate made product so I would expect the amp to do at least 1200-1300 at 2 ohms. I have also read that these will run 1 ohm daily without any troubles although I have not confirmed this. Output terminal screws are a bit rusty but they are all there. Power wire inputs are 4 gauge and made via a special plug provided with the amp. Also has a plug in for a lightning audio power cap which I have but have not included. If you'd like the cap with the amp we can work that out too but who the hell really uses caps?Amp has a built in variable low pass crossover and switchable subsonic filter as well.

I'm sure the amp would run at 1 ohm if it wasn't for the internal 120 amp fusing. If it does 1000-1200 watts at 2 ohm, it's gonna try to push 16-1800 watts at 1 ohm, and 120 amp fusing will only cover 1728 watts at 14.4 volts, and 1512 watts at 12.6 volts. The problem you're going to have at 1ohm is the amp draw at different frequencies, you're going to keep popping your fuses. That's like the Kicker zx amps, all do well at 1 ohm except the zx750.1 and down because of the internal fusing, the 1000.1 and up you can just run a bigger in-line fuse. All of this is considering you have the ability to produce 120 amps, if you don't, you're just gonna run that amp 1000 degreez at 1 ohm and burn it up. So I would just leave the 1 ohm alone my friend, hope this helps someone

I think I like the board on this amp better than the fosgate t1000bd, that class bd just isn't my thing, if you look at them side by side, you can tell this amp will do better for raw power, those bd class amps look like ab class amp boards, the only one that looks appealing is the RF t25001bd, it almost looks like a class d, and looks powerful. You can look at this Lightning Audio 1000.1's board and tell it will do the power
