Lightning audio amps?

I was wondering if they do rated power. I was looking at the 1.2000.1 model? Its spose to put out 2000rms at 1 ohm.

The yellow one's? If so, no they are weak.

The storm series and the strike series are definitely a good amp. Matter of fact they are made under different brand name(s) now as well. (actually the other brand name(s) paid Lightning a royalty for the circuit design from what I understand).

I also had very few issues with the yellow Bolt series of amps provided they were used PROPERLY for the application. If the application was too much for them, then yes they went crispy critter. We found that out the hard way on one customers install, amp toasted, our fault so we replaced the amp with one more suited to the application.

I have a strike 500.2 and it works great for my front stage...I doubt they are overrated...

Strike and Storm lightning are good quality and under rated on power, they are made by rockford fosgate. The yellow and red lightning amps you will want ot avoid
