I know that you say you are an atheist. We choose what we believe based on faith. If you would like some good reading material, there is a book by C.S. Lewis called "Mere Christianity". C.S. Lewis was an atheist and he tried all that he could to prove the Bible wrong, he tried to tear the Bible apart, and in the end, he dedicated his life to God. But in this book he talks about different religions and concludes that Christianity is real. But it is just a good book to read man. It'll be something good to do rather than write rap songs...

I am not trying to impose anything on him, I just think he needs to find a way out from his trouble in life and I am giving him advice. Another good book is called "More than a Carpenter", by Josh McDowell.

So you are an atheist. That is not a very helpful religion. Im christian, but you know what, Im not going to try to talk you into anything, because usually it ends up pushing people further away from God anyway. I will bet that you believe there is no God because you have never seen anything out of the ordinary, or miracles, etc. You are wondering why would God let all this suffering in this world? What is the point you ask, the meaning of life. Its all a test. You decide where you want to be in the end. If God did everything for us, made the world perfect, the it wouldnt be much of a test.

Ive been christian all my life, but at one point, I began to doubt. I started drinking and smoking weed. I didnt want to think about God, there was just no evidence for me. I was just waiting for something out of the ordinary to happen. During this time I damaged my Mustang twice, and then the motor finally started knocking.

Many people learn different ways. What really turned me around was the learning of evolution. I soon began to find out about the false evidence that supports evolution and how every single piece of evidence that supports evolution was proven wrong. To this day there still has not been one piece of evidence proven towards the benefit of evolution.

A man by the name of Dr. Hovind has a standing offer that is up to $250,000 since 1990 to anyone that can give any empirical evidence for evolution. No one has collected that money to this day.

In response to Sirsyko, I am glad you are a Christian and stuff. There comes a point in our lives where we have to decide for ourselves what we want out of life. If someone would really look into life, you can see that atheism just can't be. I hard someone once say this:

Atheists believe that:

Noone+nothing=everything

Religions that believe in God believe that:

someone+nothing=everything

Last time i checked 0+0 did not equal infinity, or even 1 for that matter...

But if you believe in an infinite God, then God+nothing can equal infinity.

Simple logic can explain why atheism just isn't right. So if you can accept that. Now you have to look at all the other religions. The three major religions of this world are Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. If you get to the heart of things, it comes down to this man named Jesus. Who was he?

Christians: Man is sinful and therefore separated from God. This means that we need a Savior, we need something or someone that can take our sins away. That someone is Jesus who we believe is Lord and Savior. If you accept Christ as lLord and Savior in you heart, and live by His words and His commands, then you will be forgiven and will be seen as righteous before God. Much more but I will move on.

Judaism: Believe in the Old Testament but reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They see Christ as merely a prophet and are still waiting on what they believe will be the comin of the Messiah.

Islam: In regards to the Islamic view of Jesus, they regard Jesus as a great prophet and believe that Muhommad was the messiah.

Now, if you really look at Christ. There are really only 3 options you have. Either he is a liar (He is not God, which he proclaimed to be), or, he is a lunatic (he is a crazy man, or maybe even the devil Himself), or He really is the Lord which He professes to be.

In Judaism and Islam, they regard Jesus as a great prophet from God but reject that face that He truly is God, that which Jesus said he was. But how can he be a great prophet if he is a hypocrite. How can be a good prophet if he is claiming to be God if he isn't? Therefore, Judaism and Islam have it all wrong. All we can do is accept Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. We do NEED Him! He is our only way.

Just thought I would share some of the little knowledge that I have.

You are so lost. If you are going to try to argue against something, atleast have a basic understanding of it.

Man, thats kinda wut im thinking. Whats the point of money, wife and kids, shit like that anywayz? in the end it aint gonna matter if you were rich or poor, gay or striaght, popular/not popular. We all end up in the same place - dead. In the ground. Rotting away. You say family, friends, people who care about you? Well in years they, too, will be gone. I get wierd feelings inside when I think of stuff like that, like why are we here, wut is the purpose of life? Because I dont believe in god, I believe that when we die, we all just in the ground, no going up to heaven, no going down to hell, no NOTHING. when you die your not gonna know 1 thing from the other, your DEAD!

Theres my "religious" beliefs.

But im still gonna stay alive for now, dont really know why, but I am.
