Has anyone ever tried using the trunk as a box and mounting the subs to the lid of the trunk?

I use my roof, just keep the windows rolled up and all will be good.

You can get IB speakers if you like to keep your windows down.

if your talking about having them mounted in the rear lid, facing forward into the car... I would still build a box and then seal it off from the trunk

if your talking about mounting them so their outside of the car... ugh

They did the rear deck on JLs Mustang..

If you meant using your rear deck it's possible but I dont recommend it... It would just raddle your trunk like crazy and wouldnt sound very good at all. And if you cut into the rear deck to fit subs, I'm pretty sure it compromises ur cars structure.

ive heard of people doing it..never heard of anything good coming from mounting them in rear deck tho... if thats what your talking about anyhow.
