License Plate Rattling?

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of the rattling from my license plate. Right all thats there is the plastic cover, and then the license plate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went into the Best Buy install bay and they had some Dynamat scraps laying around. Gave them to me for free.. I think the guy might've known me from somewhere though. Anyways, you could give that a try.

RIP THE ***** OFF!!! But, beware, they can catch you ridin' dirty... Especially if you're a Mexican... I saw some cops pull over a Hispanic guy 'cause he had no license plate today, but he had temp. tags. **** jackasses...

get Dbl. sided tape and place it behind your plate and screw it back on. Will stick to your car and not rattle. Tape will come right off also. No harm done

any other suggestions, I was thinking about putting some of that poster padding underneath it.

Always used Dbl. Sided tape and NEVER failed me.

take the plastic cover off and put a layer of deadener on the back of the plate.

I've heard of people putting a small sponge behind it.

You know the thin foam that comes in boxes sometimes laid on top of everything? It is like a closed cell foam that is about 1/8" thick? I stuck that behind my license plate and it stopped the rattle. Also, for about $0.50 at Wal-Mart you can get a sheet of FunFoam/Foamies and put that in between the license plate and your car

ok its as simple as this put something behind it.

Cardbaord sponge, cotton ball, paper. Almost anything.. But preferably some type of deadener
