LF: HU or EQ with enough presets and bands.

I'm looking for a head unit or equalizer, that has at least 5 custom presets with either a 15+ band graphic EQ or 5+ band parametric EQ without much center frequency restriction. I was looking at older Alpine HU's but I've read that the center frequency of each of the 5 bands in their parametric EQs can only be adjusted by a narrow degree (review here). Pioneer has a stand alone 15 band EQ but it only has 3 custom presets. Does anyone know of any model that has what I want without breaking the bank (pref. less than $300 new or used)?

just about $300shipped

i have one and its nothing short of amazing and im only running it in standard mode... its much much more options in 3-way active mode

Nice HU, but it really only has 2 custom presets (one for each source and one common). I don't know why most manufacturers are so stingy with the number of custom presets, they use next to no memory.

Close, it's a bit on the expensive side with the remote attachment at $150. I have to keep it in mind though, thanks.

Does anyone know if the higher end Alpines have less restrictive parametric EQs? The manuals for all the 5 band models lead you to believe that any of the band's center frequency can be adjusted from 20Hz-20KHz. Unfortunately this isn't the case according to the review in the first post.
