I use Firefox, and have adblock plus on i with "foof" which is a variation of adblock plus. I never see advertisements and sometimes it blocks out the pictures that people put up but doesnt block out the text on some of those stupid posts people put up. And if it doesnt block something you can make it block it for future reference. Right click a image or whatever and add it to the block list.

God i love that.

Agree 100% but it doesnt do any good. Personally i use another forum too, i like to read on this forum, and talk/get help on the other one. I once heard that CA makes 50k a year from all the advertising. Whether its true or not im not sure but CA definately makes more than the cost of keeping the site running. Paying mods isn't needed i dont think but if the admin could work with the mods or assign another admin (with equal or some lesser powers of full admin) to do that job would be nice. Ive only been here since 06 but the members are more out of hand than the spam in my opinion. I dont think it will change but whatever.

There are an equal amount of spam posts as there are from the annoying pointless ones. So it really doesn't make much of a difference. Just think of the spam as punishment for all the stupid and immature crap the members on here flood this site with. And besides the spam threads aren't really that annoying to me. They're just there, you don't have to click them or anything lol. Just ignore them it's not a big deal.
