So Cal
i dunno i was exchanging some emails with nick from IA and he told me that the xmax of a li was very underrated. I asked him what it was and he wouldnt tell me. I know that my sub moves a heckuvalot more than 13mm each way, but does anyone know the actual xmax of the LI?

X-max is the LINEAR one way travel of the cone.... So basically, if he tells you 13, its probably 13.

Why would they underrated the xmax?

Further, why would he first tell you its underrated, then not tell you the actual number? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

As stated above, Xmax is one-way LINEAR. It may move more...but it may travel outside ther realm of linear travel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

People confuse Xmax as meaning how far the sub can travel. Xmech is how far the sub can physically travel, and is always higher than Xmax. So, the sub can move beyond Xmax (not linearly though, mind you) all the way to the point of Xmech.
