Let go 10W7 for 8's?

Ok, I'm debating if I want to let go my 10W7 for a pair of 8's. I just got two brand new 10W7's and at this time I decided that I cannot fit another 10 in the car so I'm selling the other W7, but now that I put in a temporary install, I'm debating if I want to keep the 2nd W7. I have a Nine.2x onto it with around 750-800W to the W7 and it sounds great, but it seems too big for the car.

Is there any kind of 8's out that would be louder in SPL and keep the SQ that the W7 produces or should I stick with the W7? Nine.2x only produces 600-700W @ 4ohms bridged so that's my power I'd be working with. The 10W7 is in a 1.25ft^3 sealed box right now. Heres a picture of the install in progress...

The W7's are great but you can find other subs that will work in enclosures smaller than the one you have but I would keep the W7 and build a box that is contoured to the space you have to work with.

I love 8w7's. These baby's work great in compact boxes. As long as you accomadate for their mounting depth. They are a little pricey but, they have excellent output potential for their size. You will gain quite a bit of cone area by going from 1 10w7 to 2 8w7's also. You will have a little trouble wiring up 2 8w7's with that single eD amp.

Can't go with pair of 8W7's would send my amp 1.5ohms and my amp is 600W @4ohm bridged so there goes that idea unless I change out my amp, which I don't want to do.
